HUD Lead Hazard Reduction Demonstration Grant Program "Preparing to Submit An Application" In conjunction with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Healthy Housing Solutions will hold FREE webinars to provide applicants to the Lead Hazard Reduction Demonstration (LHRD) Grant Program with information and guidance on what to do before preparing a LHRD grant application. The following webinars have been scheduled:
Webinars will be led by Healthy Housing Solutions' technical expert Gordon McKay, former Director of HUD's HOME program. These webinars will be useful to state and local jurisdictions that are considering applying for a LHRD Grant when the Program NOFA is released in the upcoming weeks, including those that have successfully applied in the past. All sessions will be interactive and will address key considerations and actions to be taken now -- before the Program NOFA is released. We encourage all eligible jurisdictions to review the application and apply for funding. It is due to programs such as the Lead Hazard Reduction Demonstration Grant that such tremendous strides have been made in the battle against childhood lead poisoning.
